Easee like Monday morning, and Tuesday morning, and every morning ...
Easee's EV charging stations make them a simple and affordable way to invest in modern and future-proof charging infrastructure. It is no coincidence that they are called Robots, because they are intelligent and intuitive devices. They can maximise the available electrical capacity in your building, take power when it is at its cheapest and automatically detect what power the vehicle requires (but, unlike most robots, require only minimal programming).

There are just two basic stations, the Easee Home and the Easee Charge. The first thing that strikes you about them is their futuristic design, looking like something out of Star Wars. But charging electric cars is no longer science fiction! Compact and sleek, the Easee Home and Charge Robots are also approximately 69% lighter than other comparable charging solutions, weighing just 1.5kg. The result are chargers that charge up to 10 times faster than a regular outlet. So you can sleep easy at night, knowing that your Easee Robot is charging your vehicle as efficiently and economically as possible for your morning commute.

Most of the product features are common across both units:
  • Fully dynamic charging power 1.4 – 22kW (single and 3-phase charging)
  • Automatic queuing system
  • The load and phase balancing works offline
  • Integrated 4G in each box (e-sim), free subscription included for life
  • WiFi connectivity
  • Permanent locking of the Type 2 cable
  • Integrated earth fault protection – (Integral-type B RCD)
  • Integrated RFID reader
  • IP54 rated
  • Weight: 1.5kg
  • Dimensions: 256 x 193 x 106mm
Home sweet homeEasee Home

The Easee Home is designed for domestic installations and is eligible for the OLEV Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme. There is no need for the driver or homeowner to think about technical specifications, as the Easee Home will always adapt to your vehicle's needs and deliver the maximum power available. The Easee Home has the capacity to balance up to 3 units per supply (pictured, right) without additional infrastructure. The distinctive feature of the Easee Home is Its load balancing. Three units can be connected on one circuit, with the available power distributed dynamically and automatically between the vehicles. The total load will never exceed the set limit for the fuse.

101 Chargers on a circuit

Easee Charge The Easee Charge is the Robot for use in apartment blocks, offices, hotels, retail and leisure sites, where charging is taking place at scale at all times of the day and night. The outstanding statistic about the Easee Charge is that 101 individual charging stations can feed off the same circuit. Yes, 101! When multiple charging robots (pictured, right) are connected to the same fuse, the available energy on the circuit will be automatically and dynamically distributed between the units. By pre-installing the charging infrastructure within the building, it is easy to add subsequent Easee Charge units. They act like junction boxes, supporting the expansion of multiple charging stations on the same cable.

The Easee Charge is eligible for the OLEV Electric Vehicle Workplace Scheme, but requires installers to complete product training, details of which are available here.

A charger for all seasons

Then there is the Norway factor. Products are made to function best in their own climates, and the Norwegian weather is notoriously cold and wet. So the Easee designers came up with the idea of a double IP rating - with the faceplate off, the chargers are rated at IP34, allowing for the safe ingress and exit of moisture, and IP54 when the faceplate is on. If performance is unaffected in Norway, then there is little to be concerned about in the UK.
